Winning move

When I was about seven or eight Dad taught me to play chess.  He played for the team from British Industrial Plastics (BIP) at Streetly, near Birmingham.  One evening he played against a man named Mittonette, who was a much stronger player.  This was on our dining table.  That evening Dad won, I think for the only time against that opponent and he recorded the position.

Dennis v Mittonette about 1967.  Ring denotes black.
chess-800x375
This is the position in 3-D.

Can you see the winning move?
